Open Day
Every year at Vibe Dance Studios we have a showcase performance near the end of Term 2. It is an informal performance held at the Forestville Memorial Hall, where the students get to show off their dance routines they have learned in the first two Terms. Students wear their Vibe uniforms and perform on stage, while being watched by all their family and friends.
The Open Day gives all our students an opportunity to experience dancing on stage, some for the first time. We find this really helps our students when they start to prepare for the the end of year concert, as they have a little taste of what it will be like from the Open Day. All the children absolutely love to be up on stage with the lights, music and applause and it's a pleasure to watch everyone's hard work turn into a wonderfully entertaining concert for us all to enjoy.

We look forward to welcoming you and your extended family. Grandparents, Aunties and Uncles and friends etc. all are welcome.
Now to a bit of boring housekeeping - but YES please you must still read this!
If you have young children in the show we recommend you sit close to the left hand side of the hall as we will hand you your child to sit on your lap after their dance.
Please remember if you have younger siblings who may need your phone (WITH EARPHONES) to keep them amused, so that they aren't disturbing anyone around you as the room will be darker as it is a night show!
We suspect you won't need anything as the show will be SO much fun they will be totally enthralled the whole time!
You are welcome to bring in prams for the very young if that helps. Just please don't block any emergency exits or the middle aisle.
You may take photos and film, but please remember with us all concerned about children's health and safety, that you don't put it all over social media with a lot of details and names etc.
It is best to take photos of your children off stage for this purpose - teachers are always happy to pose with the students after the show :)
We all want to have our child's moment on stage immortalised on film but remember those behind you may not want to watch your phone blocking their view while you hold it up above your head! Feel free to stand up along the sides of the hall to film if you really want to film an entire dance, just please don't come too close to the stage as it can be very distracting for the dancers.
Parking: There is plenty of parking at Coles and the surrounding streets if need be.
NO TICKETS SOLD AT THE DOOR
Requirements:
All students to be in their Vibe Uniform (except ballet or if your teacher has stated otherwise). Please make sure your child has the correct shoes for their dance style!
Hair should be in a bun for ballet or high ponytail (with all hair out of the face) for all other classes.
There is no need to wear make up, but if our senior girls would like to, then please keep it natural looking.
